Why is the blower not working on my 2007 Land Rover?

The Heater/Blower in my 2007 Freelander HSE has stopped working. The lights on the dial come on but nothing else, as you can appreciate with winter coming my wife is getting slightly irritated with freezing herself. Any advice would be appreciated. If check the fuses first.

Took it to my LR dealer and the �55 diagnostic is suggesting the Fan Motor Resistor. Not sure how much it is going tocost me yet. How did you get on? This is probably to a broken AC/heater control module. It is the one located in your dash. It is easy replaceable, but a new one needs to be programmed with dealer diag.

Why is the blower motor on my FL2 not working?

Big thanks to you guys, after replacing the battery on my 2009 FL2 the blowers would not work. I followed the directions on this thread and after checking the 40amp fuse, unplugged the blower control module and shorted the two large wires together to check the blower motor, which worked.
