Why are my key fobs not working on my Mondeo?
Try heating/warming the keyfob up if they are cold. Also I think if you read the owners manual it should tell you the keyfob programming procedure just incase its that but I’d doubt it with it being two of them unless the battery went down to 0v for long enough.
Why does my Ford Fiesta key fob stop working?
I am having a similar problem with my MK7 fiesta key fob but unfortunately there does appear to be some damage to the PCB inside of it which is most likely why it has stopped working. It still starts the car and unlocks the door manually but wont work remotely.

What happens when I Reset my key fob?
The key fob will need to be reprogrammed to the vehicle as when the battery was replaced in the key fob, the key was reset. This is why nothing is working with the key fob.
