Why does the 4WD light keep flashing on my Mitsubishi Triton?
I have a 1998 glx mitsubishi pajero 3.5ltr V6. The issue is when I put the 4wd back into 2wd, the light keeps flashing on the dash. as if it still has not gone back into 2wd. It depends on how long it flashes for, when you select 2wd try and drive for a bit at slow speed and the light should stop. This is normal.
Why does my 4×4 light keep flashing in 2h?
If it is flashing in 2H it has not actually disengaged from 4WD at the transfer box…. On means it’s in 4WD, off means it’s in 2WD, flashing means whatever you have selected on the lever has not actually happened in the gearbox.

When does the ABS light go out on a Triton?
ABS lights up when hit water fast as well, turn off car and start light goes out. PS “4hi” on the road is absolutely fine – thats actually what its designed for (wet roads etc or “ordinary” road driving as per Pajero manual anyway and I dont think things have changed in that regard?)

Why does the 4 wheel drive light stop flashing?
The transfer case neutral position needs to be selected before you attempt to engage 4WD. The selected position indicator light will flash until the transfer case completes the shift. When the shift is complete, the indicator light for the selected position will stop flashing and remain ON.
