UVK Lucius/utb with ITB book award “Tourist book” excellent

With the title Sustainable tourism by Hartmut Pure and Wolfgang Strasdas UVK Lucius/utb won the ITB book award in 2016 in the category of “Tourist book”.

The independent jury of experts from countries, experts, the media and the book trade justified the award: “The book is as a Textbook and, accordingly, it sets the learning objectives, reference literature and covers the topics of sustainable tourism in a systematic way. With the technical contributions of the nine authors, the book is a paperback for those who want to know something about the current debate on Sustainability in tourism, the Implementation and the institutional set up. With the award ceremony, the appreciation for a book in which the main aspects of sustainability in tourism were brought together, provides a compact appearance, and is comparatively inexpensive.“

With the ITB book awards, Messe Berlin annually at the start of the ITB Berlin, the most interesting of current national and international publications in the field of travel and tourism. The official award ceremony will be held in the name of the ITB on Friday, 11.03. 2016 to 16 at the Palais at the radio tower instead.
