The right front side of steering wheel switches (cruise control) work fine. I checked the fuse associated with the horn (#42) and it is fine. Any other ideas?

Why is my steering wheel fuse not working?
There is probably a wiring harness that is loose, probably in the steering wheel itself. Took it into the dealer today, paid $125 for a diagnostic and $125 for a “fix”. They pulled a code from the ‘lin bus’? (there were no indications of anything on the evic). That resulted in them replacing fuse 49, a 10 amp fuse for the ICS/HVAC.

Where do the wires go on a steering wheel?
I looked at my harness, and it has 3 open slots in the plug to the SIR coil, so can it be as easy as picking up a pigtail and adding the wires to the other harness? Could any of you who have a harness handy check it out and let me know what wires go to the radio controls and where on the plug they go? Thanks! P.S.
Can a steering wheel be used for cruise control?
The steering wheel change/ audio control addition is mainly for a truck that came with cruise control. To add the cruise, I imagine (but am not sure) that you would have to add a wiring harness to the column and a BCM programing/replacement.
